FUTO Student Wins 2013 SPE Scholarship Award

 

WINNER:

MR KALU ORJI

An undergraduate student in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Mr Kalu Oji Kalu has won the 2013 Olumide Philips Scholarship Award organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE). Mr Kalu took the first position from among other participants at the Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE) Nigerian Council competition held on February 9, 2013.
The Vice-Chancellor has described the award as another testimony of the excellent academic environment in FUTO that continues to produce best scholars. He commended Mr Kalu for bringing honour and glory to the University.
Mr Kalu will receive his award at the Annual Oil Industry Dinner and Award holding on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.
