Jamb Change Of Course/Institution

JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION

REASONS FOR CHANGE OF COURSE OR INSTITUTION
JAMB Change of Course/Institution is an opportunity given to JAMB candidates (Tertiary Institution Aspirants) to effect their desired changes in their Choice of Institution or Course after the conduct of UTME examinations. There are several reasons why candidates may want to change their choice of Institution or Course. Some of these reasons are:

1.Mistake in the registration process. Many JAMB candidates make costly mistakes during UTME registration because they lack the right admission orientation as a result of poor information and little or no guidance. They choose the “wrong” courses or institutions. Some candidates realize their mistakes after their UTME examinations and go for JAMB Change of Course/Institution.

2.Low UTME score. This is a major reason why candidates go for JAMB Change of Course/Institution. Many that score below 200 in UTME and still desire to go for a degree program, change their institutions to those that accept scores below 200. Others who scored above 200 but don’t think their scores are high enough to give them their initial choice of course also go for a change of course to courses considered as “low-profile” courses. They do this to boost their chances of gaining admission.

3.Deficiency in O’Level Result. Candidates in this category are mostly SS 3 students who use awaiting results when registering for JAMB UTME with hope that the result they are expecting will be good, but at the end of the day, the result may lack some of the required subjects for their course of choice. Such candidates are left with no other option than to change their course in line with their O’level result bearing in mind that failure to do so will lead to their disqualification (no matter their UTME and post-UTME scores).

How do I apply for this change of Institution/Course?

ABOUT PROJECT MANAGEMENT

dizykif-2kpr2dl.pngProject management is the discipline of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals. A project is a temporary endeavor with a defined beginning and end (usually time-constrained, and often constrained by funding or deliverable), undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives, typically to bring about beneficial change or added value. The temporary nature of projects stands in contrast with business as usual (or operations), which are repetitive, permanent, or semi-permanent functional activities to produce products or services. In practice, the management of these two systems is often quite different, and as such requires the development of distinct technical skills and management strategies.

The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the project goals and objectives while honoring the preconceived constraints. The primary constraints are scope, time, quality and budget. The secondary —and more ambitious— challenge is to optimize the allocation of necessary inputs and integrate them to meet per-defined objectives. learn more on wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_management

About Maritime Management Technology futo

dizykif-2kpr2dl.png

About the department of Maritime Management

Maritime Management Technology was the first programme in the School of Management Technology. Since 1982, Maritime Management Technology has been offered as an option in the Bachelor of Transport (B.Tech) Transport Management Technology programme. Areas of specialization available to students include; Shipping Management, Maritime Technology and Marine Resource Management. Our philosophy is to create a bridge between management/administration and conventional engineering and technology.

Our department is an appropriate ground for breeding technocrats for the maritime industry, who can give sound advice to management and possess technical know-how but have little knowledge of the management/coordination aspects of the system. Our main objective is to train technocrat-managers who can effectively manage the maritime sub sector of the Nigerian economy. We also aim to provide world-class, cost-effective training for young Nigerians in line with global best practices as well as produce graduates capable of making effective contributions at the lower/middle management cadre to the planning, policy making and management of projects in the Nigerian maritime industry and contributing to the overall development of the sector through joint research, seminars and workshop activities with national and international organizations.

Here are some tips Below to be aware of during your FUTO POST-UTME.

• The FUTO  Post utme is not a CB (Computer based)

• The number of questions in Recent years
has not been constant.
• When preparing for futo post ume
exams, bear in mind that futo is for science student only, and science subjects are the only post-utme subjects allowed.
• In futo there are 5 subjects you must
bear in mind when preparing for the post ume exams they are
1. Mathematics
2. English
3. Physics
4. Chemistry
5. Biology selecting your subjects also depends on your course of
study. So visit www.futo.edu.ng to learn more about subject

• Futo repeat Post UTME questions, so you are
adviced to consult your Futo POST UTME past
questions or request for one by sending your email with #600 worth of
mtn or Glo card to 08100003084 and you'll get it mailed to you within
5min. This past questions will help you in preparation for the
post-utme examination and see how far you can go in your selected course of study.

THE EXAMINATION SYSTEM: WHAT TO AVOID
• Number one thing to avoid in FUTO post-
utme is time wasting, because you are
given less time to tackle much questions.
• In year 2009, futo set 100 questions for
their candidates, meaning 20
questions from each of the 5 subjects for
1hr, without calculator, Then in year 2010,
when students where preparing for another 100 questions, futo came out with
just 50 questions to be answered in 35 mins without calculator. Now you see that
futo can change at any time to eliminate
candidates.  Early Preparation  therefore is the
only way to success with the help of past questions and practice.

FUTO COMPETITIVE COURSES INCLUDES;
