* Log on to FUTO Direct Entry Online Application Portal


* Click on Apply to start your application
*.Enter the Confirmation Number and the Receipt Number on the eTranzact slip you collected from the bank.
*.Enter your email address
*.Enter your UTME Registration Number and click on the ‘continue’ button.
*.Enter ‘Basic Application Information’, ‘Applicants Personal Information’, and ‘Contact Information’. Click on ‘continue’ button to proceed. (Ensure to upload your picture, the size of which, should not be more than 64kb)
*.Academic Qualification’ Page is displayed, enter the required information, then click on ‘continue’.
*.Choose your result type and then enter your result details. Click on ‘save’ button to continue.

How to Change Department in Futo

CHANGE OF DEPARTMENT

Normally a student shall not be allowed to change his Department until he has completed at least one full academic year in the University. Official application forms for any change of department may be obtained from the Registrar's office.
Such course taken in the former Department which are relevant to the new programme including General Studies courses shall be credited to him. The remaining courses shall appear in the Student official academic records but shall not be taken into consideration in determining the student's average for graduation. The responsibility to decide on relevance or otherwise of the courses already jaken shall rest with the new Head Department.

Procedure for Change of Department
1. Student applying for change of Course/ Department shall be required to attach to their applications, three photocopies of their sessional result as issued by the Records Office of the Registry. Where the sessional result is not immediately available, the applicant shall submit it later to the Admissions Office as soon as it becomes available.
2. Student applying for change of Department must satisfy themselves that they possess at the time of their admission to the University the special entry requirement of the programme to which they are seeking transfer . No student will be allowed to transfer to a programmme in which his initial entry qualification are deficient.
3. Multiple submission of application for change of depaunfou witt not be permitted and such application will not be processed.
4. An application for change of degree programme becomes unsuccessful, if it fails to receive the approval of student's present Head of Department and Dean or that of the Head of Department and the Dean of the School to which the student seek to transfer.
5. The closing date for submission of application for change of Department shall not be later than end of May each year.
6. Only after the student concerned have been informed of the success of their applications may they obtain the official change of Department for Completion.

To be accepted to study at FUTO, in Engineering, interested applicants must apply through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME) body having gone through each of the school requirements
School Requirement:
Direct Entry Requirement
At Least two ‘A’ level credits in Chemistry and one of Zoology, Botany, Agricultural Science, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Economics.
At Least Upper Credit OND/HND in Agriculture. Candidates must in addition meet UTME ‘O’ Level requirements

UTME Requirement
At least five ‘O’ Level credits in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Agriculture, and any other science subject in not more than two sittings
UTME Subjects
English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
FUTO requires (i) At least three ‘A’ Level credits in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. (ii) OND/HND at Upper Credit Level in Engineering and does not accept NCE. Candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’Level requirements
