There are so many things you need to learn before applying for futo. Most FUTO aspirants have lost their admission, even when they have merited it and the reason is based on lack of information in regards to the institution you are applying for e.g futo.
What you need to know:
*To be accepted to study at FUTO, interested applicants must apply through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME) body. you must have at least 5 credit passes to include English, &Mathematics and other courses depending on your course of choice. ... Having gone through each of the school requirements.. Your jamb score is next, Now, most student for example that choose Petroleum engineering and scored 180 to 190 have less opportunity reaching the Cut-off mark for engineering, except they can do excellently well in their post-utme exam to boost their mark, at least with 190 in jamb, 290 in post utme, How futo calculate their Average score is by adding your jamb score post-utme divideby 2 (i.e 220 jamb 200 putme=220 average.) and since you cannot beat that. Its advisable to go for a jamb chance of course.

Computer science – 260
Biochemistry – 255
Information management – 260
Industrial microbiology – 270
petroleum engr-270
mechanical- 260
Elect Elect- 260.
Futo 2013 cut off mark will be announced after the release of result.
